Licensing: As Important as the RTOS
12 Jun, 2014When selecting an RTOS or Middleware for your company project there are many considerations. Not only the software functionality and features that you’ll need, but the licensing model that will work best for your project budget and the company’s “return on investment”.
We have listened to and worked hard with our customers to develop a range of flexible licensing models that not only address the immediate project requirements, but are priced effectively to allow for the future growth of our products across companies and corporations.
With a broad range of Embedded RTOS and Middleware products, support for Commercial and Safety Critical applications and flexible software licensing models, selecting WHIS as a single supplier of RTOS and Middleware solutions across entire companies and corporations is now easier than ever.
New, Competitive Licensing Models for OpenRTOS, SafeRTOS, and Middleware
The WHIS Single Product entry level license is competitively priced and still delivers the exceptional high quality expected from a WITTENSTEIN product. For some customers, this is the only license they’ll ever need. For others, WHIS makes it easy to upgrade through the licenses, from Product Line Licenses through to Corporation Licenses. Our standard licensing model uses a royalty free, perpetual license.
