Support and Maintenance

WHIS’s expert engineers are by your side. For every RTOS purchased, we supply 12 months free Support and Maintenance. For any question you want answered, any support or guidance that you need during design decisions, we are right there ready to help you.

Our engineers enjoy sharing their engineering experiences, and take great pride in providing a responsive, friendly and helpful service. We believe that if you don’t know the answer, then it’s a good question! Please see below for what is included in our Support and Maintenance Agreements:

Safety Support

For our safety related products, support also covers safety and certification activities. This ensures developers using our products always have access to a WHIS employee who can give support across all aspects of our products usage, including Technical, Safety and Certification.

Technical Support

We only assign our very best engineers to provide support. This results in a responsive and accurate service, keeping your project on track and on time.

SAFERTOS Re-validations

All safety related products, such as SAFERTOS, are dependent upon a specific version of the compiler. With a support and maintenance agreement in place SAFERTOS customers are able to request, once per year, a re-validation of their SAFERTOS variant to use the newest version of the compiler. This is vital for keeping safety purchases fresh, current, and up to date.

Production License Upgrades

A significant benefit of a Support and Maintenance agreement is the ability to increase the scope of your license, and only pay the difference between your current production license type and the cost of the new license. This allows our customers to start small, enjoy the experience WHIS offers, and then when the time comes upgrade to a larger scope license. To see all of our licenses, click here.

Support After the Initial 12 Month Period

There’s no obligation to take out a Support and Maintenance agreement, however if you feel your company would benefit from the advantages of continuing your agreement then get in contact with one of our sales consultants to receive a quotation.

Updates

Ensure your purchases stay current by receiving the very latest updates and modifications.

License Administration

Change of addresses, contact details and amendments can all be made.
