Creating a safer, greener, more secure future.

What a Year…

It started with an email that shaped the year: we’ve won a King’s Award for Enterprise.

We’re sure this isn’t news by now (we’ve been talking about it all year) but this year was about so much more.  We also achieved a Great Place to Work certification, welcomed new partnerships, had a global presence at major events, planned an office move and worked on solutions designed to make life easier for engineers.

Through all of it, one thing stayed the same: our focus on why we do what we do.

Celebrating a Milestone We’ll Never Forget

One highlight stands out, one that we can safely say the whole team is proud of: winning the King’s Award for Enterprise. While you may have seen the announcement, you haven’t seen the excitement behind the scenes. Meeting the King was a moment our Managing Director, Andrew, will remember forever.

And as a company, we’re grateful that every challenge resolved, every design hurdle overcome, and every solution we deliver has a real impact on the engineers and partners we work with.

Partnerships That Strengthened Our Partner Ecosystem

In 2025, we welcomed new partners who share our vision for innovation in the embedded and safety-critical space.

One partner we’re especially excited about is Quintauris. They’re doing incredible work with RISC-V, backed by a strong community and deep expertise in processor architecture and toolchains. This makes them a perfect fit for our mission to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

We also announced our strategic solution with Qualcomm, continued working together with TI and developed many new demos with other ecosystem partners – as always these are free to download from our website.

Beyond the formal announcements, what truly stood out were the conversations, collaboration, and shared commitment to delivering something genuinely new and valuable to our customers. These partnerships mean faster integration, more robust systems, and a stronger ecosystem for everyone.

We’ve been all over the globe this year exhibiting and visiting customers and tradeshows from the US to Asia. We started off the year at CES in the U.S., followed by Embedded World in Germany in April. Since then, you may have seen us at the Infineon RISC-V conference, IAA Mobility, NXP tech day UK, SPS, and Embedded World North America.

Andrew even made it to AWS re:Invent for his ninth visit, and Emiliano, our Product Manager, wrapped up the year at NXP Tech Day in China on December 8th.

Innovations

We’ve made big strides with Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP), giving engineers the flexibility and performance they need for modern multicore systems. We’re also continuing to strengthen security with our Enhanced Security Module (ESM), developed in accordance with ISO 21434, because trust is essential.

Content, Community, and a Lot of Learning

We continued investing in content that answers the questions engineers are asking and spent a fair amount of time asking ourselves how we can make our technical content even more accessible, useful, and connected to real-world engineering challenges. The results speak for themselves: tutorials, blogs, and deep technical insights that spark meaningful conversations. And we’re not stopping there, an exciting overhaul of our RTOS Knowledge Base is coming next year. Stay tuned!

A Year of Change Inside the Company, Too

Like most growing teams, we had our share of internal milestones, new faces joining us and new responsibilities taken on. We achieved a Great Place to Work certification and trained up some team members to be Mental Health First Aiders.

One big change we’re especially excited about is our office move in January.

Everyone will be in the same building, enabling more collaboration, more conversation and more innovation. For some, this is a nostalgic moment. Our story began in a set of converted barns on the outskirts of Bristol, in Long Ashton. A handful of us have been here since the very beginning, part of the original seven who started it all twenty-five years ago.  For others, it means easy access to Bristol’s lunch spots and city buzz.

From meeting the King to pioneering aerospace innovations, our journey has always been about striving for the highest quality and integrity for our products and our team.

We’re entering 2026 with gratitude, for our customers, our collaborators, and the engineers who continue to challenge and inspire us. Join us for what’s next – creating a safer, greener, more secure future.
