Project Manager

You will be part of our group of experts working to advance our portfolio of embedded software products including our safety critical real time operating system SAFERTOS®. You will be project managing orders for our customers, ranging from small dynamic start-ups to some of the world’s most prestigious global technology companies.

Summary Job Description

  • Ensure effective management and delivery of multiple projects to meet time, cost, and quality targets
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across all levels within the organisation
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure that each customer project has an agreed schedule of delivery that meets the customer requirements and is adequately resourced
  • Manage client relationships: acting as the customer contact during the execution and delivery of each project; liaising between the engineering team and customers to communicate requests for clarification, changes and updates promptly
  • Project initiation and planning across the project lifecycle to include project closure and documentation of ‘lessons learnt’
  • Production of regular status reports for clients and internal stakeholders

Minimum Education Standard

Ideally educated to degree level and holding a relevant project management qualification

  • Project Manager experience
  • Strong background in the software development process
  • Internal projects change management
  • Delivery focussed attitude
  • Competent user of Microsoft Project, Trello and a range of other collaboration skills
  • Data analysis

Highly Desirable Additional Skills and Experience

  • Assertiveness and good negotiating skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Safety Software Development to standards: IEC 61508, DO 178B/C, ISO26262, IEC 61508, IEC 62304
