FAT File System Overview
OPENRTOS CONNECT is a suite of embedded middleware components designed to shorten your development cycle and allow you to focus on application development. It’s an integrated embedded solution, which comes with a fully working demo application and works ‘out of the box’ with the minimum of fuss. Built around OPENRTOS, the commercial implementation of FreeRTOS, the suite has USB Host and Device capability as well as a mature FAT File System.
The FAT File System is full featured and is used to connect FAT12/16/32 compliant media such as compact flash or multi-media cards to the embedded application. The FAT file system has a standard API and can be supplied standalone or as part of a fully integrated OPENRTOS CONNECT platform.
